Educational Technology

We are excited to share that District 218 has a 1:1 (one-to-one) technology program for our students. In our 1:1 program, every student is provided with an iPad to support teaching and learning in the classroom and at home. The goal of this program is to promote student achievement by providing more opportunities for creativity, collaboration, and communication.

 

The iPad has a strong educational foundation with access to a variety of quality resources, including productivity and creativity apps that are often exclusive to this device. The iPad includes powerful classroom management tools and access to interactive digital course materials. The integration of this modern technology in our curriculum fosters student engagement and enhances instructional innovation to meet the needs of diverse learners in District 218.
