English as a New Language (ENL)

The English as a New Language (ENL) Program serves English Language Learners in District 218. Our learners come from countries across the globe and bring with them a vast range of skills and experiences. We serve newcomers to the United States, long term English learners and everyone in between. Students are tested as they enter District 218 and we create their schedules to promote maximum English proficiency. We offer bilingual programs in Arabic at Richards High School and Spanish at Eisenhower.
