Executive Director of Special Services
My name is Kerri Piscitelli, and I am currently the Executive Director of Special Services for CHSD 218. I have worked in the district for the past twenty-three years. Starting in 2001, I served as a special education teacher and coach at Eisenhower High School; as dean of students at Summit Learning Center; as Assistant Director and Curriculum Director of Special Education, and as Director of Special Education. The 2024-2025 school year marks my first year serving in the role as the Executive Director of Special Services for the district.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in special education from Benedictine University; Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from National-Louis University; and, Master of Arts in School Administration from Concordia University.
Special Education has always been a passion of mine, and I am proud of the work our department does on a daily basis to improve the lives of our students. It is an honor and privilege of mine to serve in this role. Our department works diligently to update our curriculum and improve our programming to meet the unique learning needs of our students.
