After getting his bachelor's degree from Illinois State University, Dustin Cochrane began his teaching career in a Multi-Needs setting for Southwest Cooperative. He then began working for Community High School District 218 in 2009. He has taught in several settings within the district including Co-taught, Core, Foundations, and Multi-Needs. He has also served as an instructional coach for the district with a focus on special education teaching pedagogy. Currently, Dustin is the Director of Special Education overseeing MTSS for the district, special education curriculum, and students who are being educated in outside-of-district placements.
